About this edition

The 24th edition took place on Tuesday 1 March 2016 in Orchide's conference room and was about the economy: projects and research in a field so important to society.

Andrew Russell, UNDP Resident Representative in Kosovo and UN Development Coordinator, with a master's in international relations from Columbia University, talked about young people's role in shaping Kosovo's economic future and UNDP's programmes in this area.

Agron Demi, executive director of the GAP Institute, where he had worked since 2008, had also been part of the support teams of the Assembly's Committee on Budget and Finance. He talked about why access to detailed budget spending data matters as a tool against corruption and the mismanagement of public money, and presented GAP's online platforms for monitoring the public sector and involving citizens in decisions.

Organised by BarCamp Ferizaj's local organising team, with the support of IPKO Foundation.
