About this edition
The fourth edition took place on 21 December 2013 and brought a poet, an activist and a film director. After the edition on entrepreneurship, the audience heard about a book of poems, an activism school for young people and an international documentary by a director from Ferizaj.
Shpëtim Selmani, an activist in the FOL Movement and a poet since his youth, talked about his book of poems, a personal manuscript written over the previous five or six years. The book is divided into seven periods, the poems were left as first written, with no later editing, and its title was not yet decided.
Miranda Gagica, manager of the “School of Activism” project at the NGO Iniciativa për Progres (INPO), talked about this school for 16- to 20-year-olds, held in Kosovo's seven main cities over eight months. She explained what made it different from other schools, the challenges of running it and the mini-projects INPO funded in each city, started by the participants themselves.
Besim Ugzmajli, a film director from Ferizaj, talked about his observational documentary “One Week in Kosovo”, made in 2012–2013 with European Union funding. The feature-length documentary was shown at several international festivals and on television, including the French channel ARTE.
Organised by young activists from Ferizaj, with the support of IPKO Foundation.
