The people who
made it happen.
Edition after edition, year after year — a team of volunteers showed up to set up the chairs, fix the projector, manage the door, and keep the community running.
The founding team
The people who started it and kept it going for seven years.
Arben Krasniqi
Software engineer and community builder. Arben had the original idea for BarCamp Ferizaj and saw it through from the first edition to the last. His conviction that Ferizaj deserved its own tech scene turned out to be right.
Vlora Gashi
Web developer and community architect. Vlora shaped the culture of BarCamp Ferizaj — the warmth, the inclusivity, the sense that everyone was welcome regardless of experience level. She spoke at Edition #1 and was there for #50.
Fisnik Berisha
UI/UX designer responsible for BarCamp Ferizaj's visual identity, from the original logo to every poster and social card across seven years. Also a frequent speaker on design topics.
Nita Kqiku
Digital rights researcher and civic tech advocate. Nita shaped the programming toward more socially conscious topics — from open data to AI ethics — and brought a rigorous, critical perspective to everything she touched.
Granit Lahu
Full-stack developer who managed the technical side of BarCamp — the website, the equipment, the live streaming experiments, and the occasional server that died the day before an event.
Arjeta Morina
Software engineer and advocate for women in tech. Arjeta made sure BarCamp Ferizaj's speaker lineup reflected the full range of the community — and pushed for the harder conversations about inclusion.
Mentor Sylejmani
Infrastructure engineer and logistics wizard. Mentor handled everything from venue coordination and equipment to the increasingly complex technical setups of later editions.
Besnik Hoxha
Data scientist who managed BarCamp Ferizaj's community analytics, feedback systems, and the growing dataset of editions, speakers, and themes. A frequent speaker on data topics.
Volunteers & contributors
The people who helped behind the scenes across different editions.
