About this edition

The 28th edition took place on 22 October 2016 in Orchide's conference room and was about education: initiatives to improve schooling nationally, both formal and non-formal.

Burim Sylejmani, a teacher of students with special needs from Ferizaj, talked about his work and the legal initiatives he and his colleagues took so that proper, tailored plans are drawn up for these students.

Shpend Mustafa, from the INPO organisation, presented the findings of research done for the project “Involving young people in the development of vocational education”, which mapped the problems of vocational secondary schools and students' prejudices about them.

Laurat Raca and Hana Sahatqia, from UNICEF Innovations Lab, talked about the lab's work, which helps young people from all over Kosovo develop their ideas, and about upcoming projects focused on the UPSHIFT programme.

Organised by BarCamp Ferizaj's team of young activists, under the umbrella of Iniciativa për Progres (INPO), with the support of IPKO Foundation.
